AJ Milano tabs Gabriele Ganeto
Gabriele GanetoArmani Jeans Milano kept improving its roster for the 2010-11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Basketball season by inking forward Gabriele Ganeto to a multi-year deal, the club announced Saturday. Ganeto (200, 23) arrives from MiroRadici Finance Vigevano, where he averaged 11.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30 Italian second division games last season. He helped Vigevano to reach the Italian second division in 2009. Ganeto has also played for Aironi Castelletto Ticino, Junior Casale Monferrato and Lauretana Biella throughout his short, promising career. He has also been a member of the Italian under-16, under-18, under-20 and university national teams. "I want to thank the club for the chance it offered me to play at the highest level. I grown up a lot playing for Vigevano in the second division, gaining valuable experience and getting enough playing time to prove my skills," Ganeto said. "I am excited to have the chance to wear such a prestigious jersey from now on. I already spoke to coach Bucchi and I can't wait to start working with my new teammates."
