The two previously worked together on the Serbian under-20 national team. He also won a bronze medal at the 2005 European U-20 Championship.

"Tadija is one of the [most] promising young players at the power forward position in Europe, " ALba head coach Luka Pavicevic said. "I worked with him at the beginning of his career in the Serbian U20 national team and have followed his career since then. He has a combination of ambition and versatility that we have sorely missed in the last season at that position."

"I am very happy about the chance to play for such a great club, " Dragicevic said. "About Alba I've heard nothing but positive. I look forward to the season and in particular to working again with Luka Pavicevic. Our time together with the U20 national team remained is a very good memory."
