Hemofarm signs guard Abdul-Hamid
Mustafa Abdul-HamidHemofarm Stada signed guard Mustafa Abdul-Hamid to a one-year deal, the club announced Thursday. Abdul-Hamid (190, 22) will make his European basketball debut with the Serbian side. He arrives from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played the past four seasons. Abdul-Hamid averaged just 2.1 points in eight minutes per game last season after returning from a torn ligament in his right wrist that required surgery in December 2008. Hemofarm Stada coach Zeljko Lukajic said he expects Abdul-Hamid to adapt quickly to European basketball.
