Budivelnik lands Morley, Wilson
Budivelnik is getting ready for the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds as on Thursday the team announced two new players, forwards Zach Morley (203, 27) and Lamayne Wilson (203, 30). Morley arrives from Burgos of the Spanish second division where last season he played 47 games averaging 14.9 points and 5.9 rebounds. He played college ball in Indian Hills Community College from 2001 to 2003 and he then moved to Wisconsin from 2003 to 2005. After that, he travelled to Spain to play with Gandia of the Spanish third division. He played there for two seasons and in summer of 2007 he joined Leche Rio Breogan, again in the Spanish second division. He was back in Gandia for the 2008-09 season, as the team had promoted to the second division in Spain. After another good season, he was picked up by Burgos. Now, Morley is ready to make his European debut with Budivelnik. The other arrival comes from Turkey, as Wilson played for Turk Telekom last season. He played 11 Eurocup games averaging 15.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Wilson played college ball in Troy St. and in 2002 he joined Skonto Riga of Latvia for his first European experience. Since then, he has also played in Russia, China, Germany and Italy. In 2007 he joined Asvel Basket of France as he averaged 1.1 points in 12 ULEB Cup games while also winning the French Cup title. He switched teams by joining SLUC Nancy, and in his Euroleague debut he averaged 12.1 points and 4.1 rebounds. At the beginning of last season he moved to Turk Telekom and now he is ready to take another chance at the Euroleague with Budivelnik.
