Union Olimpija pens deal with swingman Sehovic
Suad Sehovic joins Union OlimpijaUnion Olimpija signed Montenegrin national team player Suad Sehovic for the coming season, the club announced Thursday. Sehovic (197, 23) arrives from Bosna Sarajevo, where he has spent the past five years. Last season he averaged 13.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in the Adriatic League and also helped Bosna win the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup. Sehovic is currently with the Montenegrin national team playing in the EuroBasket 2011 Qualifying rounds.

"We know Suad from Bosna Sarajevo, and I also coached him there few seasons ago," Union Olimpija head coach Jure Zdovc said. "He had a good season in [Adriatic League] and we believe that he is ready for step forward. Sehovic is a hardworking guy, who will be able to play an important role in the team."
