Serbian champion Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade added depth to its backcourt by bringing back shooting guard Charles Jenkins on a two-year deal, club announced on Friday night. Jenkins (1.91 meters, 27 years old) played last year with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, averaging 6.7 points, 1.8 assists and 1.6 rebounds during the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season, and posted 4.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1 steal in the run to the EuroCup quarterfinals. Jenkins and Milan won the Italian League title last season, too. He previously spent two seasons with Zvezda and under head coach Dejan Radonjic, and has become one of fan favorites in the Serbian capital. In 2014-15 season, he helped the club reach EuroLeague Top 16 and win the domestic triple crown - Serbian League, Serbian Cup and Adriatic League. A year earlier, he helped lead Zvezda to the EuroCup semifinals. Prior to coming to Europe, Jenkins played for Golden State and Philadelphia of the NBA.
