Bertomeu joins FIBA World Congress panel
Jordi Bertomeu - Euroleague Basketball CEOAt the FIBA World Congress in Istanbul, Turkey this weekend, Euroleague Basketball CEO Jordi Bertomeu will take part in a panel discussion about the relationships between professional leagues and national federations. The FIBA World Congress meets once every four years and brings together all 213 national federations for a series of official meetings and discussions. Mr. Bertomeu was invited to join eminent figures in the sports community - including Turkish Federation president Turgay Demirel, NBA deputy commissioner and COO Adam Silver, Korean Basketball league and association executive Jaemin Lee, and Australia basketball league and federation CEO Larry Sengstock - in one of several panel discussions offered to FIBA World Congress delegates. The Congress will run from September 3 to 6 at the Hotel "SwissĂ´tel the Bosphorus".
