Union Olimpija improved its frontcourt for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by inking power forward Kevinn Pinkney to a one-year deal, the club announced Monday. Pinkney (208, 26) arrives from Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem, where he averaged 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13 Eurocup games last season. Pinkney averaged 9 points on 61.9% two-pointers and 4.4 rebounds in 19 Israeli League games He helped Hapoel to reach the Eurocup Quarterfinals, lifted the Israeli Winner Cup trophy and make it to the Israeli League final four. Pinkney has also played for NGC Cantu and Biella in Italy, Bakersfield in the D-League, Boston in the NBA, Turow Zgorzelec in Poland and Stade Clermontois in France. Pinkney is set to make his Euroleague debut with Olimpija this season.
