Efes signs big man Geyik
Adding frontcourt depth for the upcoming Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, Anadolu Efes Istanbul has signed power forward Samet Geyik for what will be his debut in the competition. Geyik (2.06 meters, 23 years old) played 15 games in the Turkish League last season with Pinar Karsiyaka, putting up 4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 9 minutes on average. He had 6.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game the previous season with Tofas Bursa, with whom he played five seasons after debuting in 2009 with Bornova Belediye. Efes and Geyik agreed to a two-year contract.
