Gasper Vidmar suffers injury (fenerbahce.org)Fenerbahce Ulker suffered a big loss in its Turkish League win on Saturday as Gasper Vidmar suffered an injury that will sideline him for a significant amount of time. Vidmar, who was off to a promising start to the season, injured his anterior cruciate ligament in the closing minutes of the game against Medical Park Trabzonspor Basketbol. He will miss between six weeks and six months depending upon whether the team doctors decide to treat the injury through rehabilitation or surgery. Vidmar, who is now in his fourth season with FB Ulker, averaged 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds – both career highs – in just 20 minutes per game in the Euroleague this season. He had 5 points and 4 rebounds on Saturday and was averaging 7.3 points 3.8 boards in just 14 minutes in the Turkish League.
