Dynamo
Moscow shooting guard Travis Hansen will be sidelined indefinitely
after tearing his Achilles' tendon in his left foot. Hansen
suffered the injury during the first quarter of a Russian League game
against CSKA Moscow on Sunday. He will undergo tests to determine when
he will be able to be back on court, but is expected to miss the
remainder of the season. Hansen arrived in Moscow last summer from Tau
Ceramica and has averaged 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in
14 Euroleague games this season, ranking second in scoring and assists
for Dynamo. The club is already looking for a replacement before the
Top 16 starts. "It is a big loss for us. We played excellent basketball
in January and managed to win five consecutive games, so now we must
carry on playing well without Hansen," head coach Dusan Ivkovic said.
