Intent on rising from last place in the standings, Unics Kazan has found more help for its backcourt, signing point guard Paul Stoll until the end of the season. Stoll (1.80 meters, 30 years old) last season led the VTB United League with 7.6 assists per game playing for Avtodor Saratov of Russia. He also poured in 14.6 points on average in his 25 games with Avtodor. Stoll has spent much of his eight professional seasons to date in Central and South America. He won the FIBA Americas Championship gold medal in 2013 with his national team from Mexico. In his first European pro experience, Stoll won the 2013 Israeli League with Maccabi Haifa.
