EuroLeague week on Twitter

DUNKING OVER PEOPLE: Yes, Tyler Honeycutt of Anadolu Efes Istanbul did jump over five people in a Turkish All Star dunk contest. Film and photos were all over the Internet. So impressive that even the one and only Dr. J commented and praised it.

ONE TEAM: EA7 Milan’s Bruno Cerella had a blast (again) taking part in One Team activities last week in Milan.

FRESH LOOK : It wasn’t really a makeover, but Baskonia’s Adam Hanga wanted us to see his fresh hairdo.

DEPARTURE – ARRIVAL: Real Madrid experienced a big change in temperature from leaving Madrid to arriving in Kaunas. Sergio Llull and Trey Thompkins felt like “someone left the window open”.

FRIEND IS IN TOWN: Fenerbahce’s James Nunnally and Unics’ Orlando Johnson have been teammates and great friends since the two were main players for two seasons together in University of California Santa Barbara, helping their college team to historic success. When Unics and Johnson visited Darussafaka in Istanbul this week, the two did not pass up a rare chance to meet and catch up.

NEVER TOO EARLY: Many of current EuroLeague players got into basketball by following their fathers’ footsteps. Looks like Zoran Dragic’s son wanted to make the roster minutes before the tip off against Galatasaray.

WINNERS' CORNER: Vitor Faverani had a fantastic debut for Barcelona, while Crvena Zvezda players rode its team defense for fifth straight win that improved them to 10-8 record.

Big home win tonight!
