Nedovic, Unicaja sign new deal
7DAYS EuroCup champ Unicaja Malaga is preparing for its comeback to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague next season, and the first step was extending the contract of guard Nemanja Nedovic for one more season on Wednesday. Nedovic (1.91 meters, 26 years old) was one of the main factors for Unicaja winning the EuroCup title averaging 9.3 points, 3.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 16 games, 15 of which as a starter. Nedovic arrived in Malaga for the 2015-16 season, but before that he had started his career in Crvena Zvezda Belgrade of his native Serbia. There, he spent four seasons befor emoving to Lithuania to play with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. He also played in the United States after that but in 2014 he was back in Europe to play with Valencia Basket for one season, the team that Unicaja eventually defeated in this year's EuroCup finals. This season, Nedovic was selected to the All-Tournament Team in the Spanish League also.
