Lithuanian champion Zalgiris Kaunas signed point guard Dee Bost to a one-year contract, the club announced Saturday. Bost (1.89 meters, 27 years old) arrives from AS Monaco, with which he averaged 13.0 points and 5.6 assists in 30 French League games last season. His assist average was fifth-best in the league. Bost returns to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague after averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 10 games for Stelmet Zielona Gora in the 2015-16 season. He later helped Zielona Gora advance to the EuroCup Quarterfinals with 11.6 points, 5.4 assists and 1.7 steals over 10 games in that competition. Bost has also played for Turkish side Trabzonspor Medical Park, which he helped reach the 2015 EuroChallenge title game; Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, with which he won the Montenegrin League in 2013, Idaho of the D-League and Trotamundos de Carabobo of Venezuela.
