EA7 Emporio Armani Milan added plenty of experience to its roster by signing small forward Vlado Micov among a series of transactions on Monday. Micov (2.01 meters, 32 years old) arrives from Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul, where he averaged 11.2 points on 43.2% three-point shooting and 3.6 rebounds in 29 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. He was with Galatasaray for three years and helped it win the EuroCup title in 2016. Born in Belgrade, Micov started his career playing teams in his hometown, including Beopetrol, Crvena Zvezda, OKK and Lavovi 063 before joining Montenegrin powerhouse Buducnost Podgorica. He also played for Panionios of Greece, Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz of Spain, Pallacanestro Cantu of Italy and CSKA Moscow of Russia. Micov helped Buducnost win two Montenegrin League and three Montenegrin Cup titles from 2007 to 2009 and lifted consecutive VTB League trophies with CSKA in 2013 and 2014. Micov also took CSKA to consecutive EuroLeague Final Fours in his two years with the club. He has played 131 EuroLeague career games in six seasons with Baskonia, Cantu, CSKA and Galatasaray, accumulating 1,166 points (8.9 ppg.) and 411 rebounds (3.1 rpg.). Micov is the fourth player Milan added to its roster on Monday, joining Dairis Bertans, Andrew Goudelock and Amath M'Baye.
