BCM Gravelines keeps Bokolo for 3 more years

Yannick Bokolo – BCM Gravelines Dunkerque (Photo: FIBA Europe)BCM Gravelines Dunkerque ensured continuity in the backcourt by renewing point guard Yannick Bokolo’s contract for three more seasons. Bokolo (1.89 meters, 26 years old) has spent the past three seasons with Gravelines and helped the team reach the French League semifinals last year. He has experience at the highest levels in the form of two seasons in the Euroleague when he played for Le Mans and representing the French national team at the European and world championships. Last season Bokolo averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4 assists per game in the French League and 9.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the FIBA EuroChallenge in helping Gravelines reach the quarterfinals. A native of the Congo, Bokolo played in the SIG Strasbourg youth system and for INSEP before joining Le Mans as an 18-year-old in 2003. He spent five seasons there, winning the French Cup in 2004 and the French League in 2006. Bokolo joined Gravelines in 2008.
