Asvel Basket tabs Jamie Skeen
Jamie SkeenFrench squad Asvel Basket keeps getting ready for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds with the addition of forward Jamie Skeen for the next campaign. Skeen (2.05 meters, 23 years old) arrives from VCU of the NCAA, a team that surprised many by making the Final Four last March. Skeen was a revelation in the March Madness period as he averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and a 55% accuracy from the arc. Before playing at VCU, Skeen also played in Wake Forest from 2006 to 2009. Asvel Basket will be his first pro experience in basketball, and therefore he will have the chance to make his debut in the Euroleague if his team advances in the Qualifying Rounds.
