Jordi Bertomeu speech at 2011-12 Draw in Barcelona
Jordi BertomeuGood afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the kick off of the 2011-12 season.

We look to this new season with hope, and expectation.

Yesterday here in the city of Barcelona we inaugurated our new headquarters, the new home of Euroleague Basketball.

This is the fruit of the work of clubs, leagues and partners and of looking ahead. of taking small steps but always taking them to move forward.

Today I am especially proud to announce that this season a new partner is joining the Euroleague basketball project.

We welcome Bwin, As a new member of the Euroleague Basketball family.

BWIN.PARTY is currently the largest operator in egaming and has made basketball one of their strategic pillars.

This is the main reason Why we believe this partnership will create value for our sport, our league and our fans by being able to take advantage of synergies between both entities.

I want to thank Mr. Teufelberger Bwin CEO and his team For joining us today.

The twelfth Turkish Airlines Euroleague will have more sponsors, more TV partners, new arenas and the most important thing: more spectators.

With the help of our clubs, with the complicity of our partners and sponsors, Turkish Airlines Nike Efes Pilsener, Mondo we are going to make a better season, one that we start with this draw and will finish in Istanbul with our Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four.

Good luch to everyone and enjoy the summer. Thank you.
