One of the best centers in Europe switched Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams on Wednesday when Anadolu Efes announced the signing of Stanko Barac to a three-year deal. Barac (2.17 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Caja Laboral, where he comes off a breakout season with 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1 blocked shot – all career-best averages - in 20 Euroleague games last season. In his three seasons in Vitoria, Barac helped the club to the Spanish King's Cup title in 2009 and to three consecutive Spanish League finals, including winning the trophy in 2010. Barac has also played for Valencia Basket in Spain and Siroki Hercegtisak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Barac won the 2007 Bosnia and Herzegovina League and the 2006 Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup titles. He is also a member of the Croatian national team, with whom he played at the 2008 Olympic Games.
