Partizan mt:s picks up playmaker Law
Acie Law signed with Partizan Belgrade (Photo: Keith Allison from Owings Mills, USA)Perennial Serbian and Adriatic League champion Partizan mt:s enhanced its backcourt for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by signing guard Acie Law to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday. Law (1.90 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Golden State of the NBA, where he averaged 5.1 points in 40 games last season. He started the season with Memphis. Law has played a total of 180 NBA games over four seasons with Atlanta, Golden State, Charlotte, Chicago and Memphis. Law enjoyed a standout college basketball career at Texas A&M University. Law graduated as the Aggies' all-time third leading scorer (1,669 points) and also ranked third in assists (545). He averaged 18.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5 assists and 1.1 steals in 34 NCAA games in the 2006-07 season - his senior year. He was chosen to the All-Big 12 first team that year as one of four finalists for the Naismith Trophy.
