Cholet Basket adds Battle, too
Talor BattleCholet Basket reached an agreement with scoring ace Talor Battle, who will make his professional debut in the French powerhouse next season. Battle (1.82 meters, 23 years old) just finished his college career at the Pennsylvania State University. He averaged 20.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 34 NCAA games last season, taking his team to the Big Ten Tournament final. Battle was chosen to the All-Big Ten second team in each of the last two seasons and made it to the first team in 2009, when he led Penn St. to win the NIT title. He has also been a member of the United States under-21 and university teams. He helped USA to win the bronze medal at the 2009 World University Games in Serbia.
