PAOK puts Wright at point
Rashad Wright - Alba BerlinA well-rounded playmaker is ready to battle for a Turkish Airlines Euroleague spot through the Qualifying Rounds, as PAOK BC announced an agreement with Rashad Wright for the upcoming season. Wright (1.89 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Alba Berlin, where he averaged 8.8 points and 2.7 assists in 15 Eurocup games in the 2009-10 season. Wright missed the entire 2010-11 season due to injury. He helped Alba to make it to the Eurocup Finals in 2010 and won the German Cup title in 2009. Wright has also played for Efes Pilsen in Turkey, Telindus BC Oostende in Belgium, Hemofarm in Serbia and Panionios Athens in Greece. He led Oostende to win the Belgian League title in 2007 and reached the ULEB Cup semifinals with Hemofarm in 2006. PAOK faces Galatasaray in Game 1 of the Qualifying Rounds in Vilnius, Lithuania in late September.
