KK Buducnost Voli announced a pair of signings on Monday that will strengthen the club for years to come. Teenagers Nikola Ivanovic (1.87 meters, 17 years old) and Nemanja Radovic (2.08 meters, 19 years old) both signed multiyear contracts with the Montenegrin champion. Ivanovic is one of the top players of his generation in Europe. Last summer he was named to the all-tournament team at the European Under-16 Championships in Montenegro after placing second at the event in scoring (22.8 ppg.) and steals (3.1 spg.) and fourth in assists (5 apg.). Over the past month and playing against older players, he ranked in the top 10 in scoring at the European U-18 Championships – Division B and was second on the Montenegrin squad in scoring at the European U-20 Championships. Last season he played for KK Mornar Bar, where in the regional Balkan International Basketball League he tallied 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
Radovic is a promising forward who has played alongside Ivanovic at several stops. He recently teamed with Ivanovic on the Montenegrin team at the European U-20 Championships, where Radovic averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds. Last season in the BIBL, Radovic played nearly 30 minutes per games and posted 13.5 points and grabbed 7.8 rebounds.
