EuroLeague week on Twitter

Teams and players work on their skills and chemistry – on and off the court – all season long. Here is our selection of last week’s tweets from around the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

THE HONOR: “There is before and after you sign a barrel at El Pimpi in Malaga”, says Unicaja’s Carlos Suarez who went is now part of history in Malaga at the city’s signature place.

FAMILY EVENT: A rare few extra days off this season Real Madrid’s Jonas Maciulis used for a family trip to the soccer game at Santiago Bernabeu, and Kenny Gabriel and his family visited the local Zoo in Athens.

It's a first time that all #family came to #santiagobernabeu to watch #realmadrid. #halamadrid #madrid #football

GIGI’s 30th: Fenerbahce’s Luigi Datome turned 30 this week. Traditionally, it meant blowing candles at the end of the team practice. But it also brought a series of best-wishes tweets from his and Fenerbahce fans.

TRICKS OF THE TRAIT: Errick McCollum and Muhaymin Mustafa of Anadolu Efes Istanbul working on ball-control, handles and eye-coordination. And Nicolo Melli of Fenerbahce attempting to showcase his skills, too.

(NOT) MASTERCHEF: Fernando San Emeterio had some fun preparing food.

PREGAME GET-TOGETHER: Frenchmen in Moscow - friends, opponents and teammates - Nando De Colo, Thomas Heurtel and Kevin Seraphin

WINNERS’ CORNER: There is hardly a better way for team-building and team bonding, and to celebrate a EuroLeague victory, than a team family dinner like the one Maccabi players organized.
