FCB Lassa brings back scoring ace Jackson
FC Barcelona Lassa added firepower to its roster by signing shooting guard Edwin Jackson for the remainder of the season, the club announced Monday. Jackson (1.90 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Guangdong Southern Tigers, where he averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 21 Chinese League games this season. He previously played for Barcelona during the 2014-15 season, in which he averaged 3.0 points in 11 games. Jackson went on to play for Unicaja Malaga and Movistar Estudiantes, with which he led the 2016-17 Spanish League in scoring (21.4 ppg.). He started his career with INSEP Centre Federal of his native France and also played for ASVEL Villeurbanne, SPO Rouen Basket ad JSF Nanterre before joining Barcelona. Jackson is also a member of the French national team and helped it win a bronze medal at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
