The current regular season leader, CSKA Moscow, announced on Wednesday the addition of big man Victor Rudd on a one-month temporary contract with an option to prolong it for the rest of the season. Rudd (2.05 meters, 26 years old) was signed to fill in for Othello Hunter and Kyle Hines, the two CSKA big men who are currently sidelined due to injury. Rudd arrives from Gaziantep of Turkey, where he started the season. In Turkey, Rudd averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 16 games. Last season, Rudd played with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in all 30 regular season games, 20 of them as a starter, averaging 10.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He also played in the 7DAYS EuroCup with Russian squad Nizhny Novgorod in 2015-16, averaging 15.8 points and 6.7 boards in 20 games, leading the team to the quarterfinals.
