FC Barcelona Lassa added another premier perimeter threat by signing swingman Jaka Blazic
to a one year deal. Blazic (1.96 meters, 28 years old) spent last season with Morabanc Andorra, for which he posted 12.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in the 7DAYS EuroCup and 13.7 points and 4.1 boards in the Spanish League. He brings six seasons of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience with him, including helping KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz reach the Final Four in 2016. Blazic started his career in his native Slovenia, where he played for Triglav Kranj and Geoplin Slovan Ljubljana before making his EuroLeague debut with Union Olimpija Ljubljana in the 2011-12 season. He has also played for Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade before joining Baskonia in 2015. Blazic helped Olimpija win back-to-back Slovenian Cup titles in 2012 and 2013 and lifted five trophies - back-to-back Adriatic League and Serbian Cup crowns in 2014 and 2015, and the Serbian League title in 2015 - in two years with Zvezda. As a member of the Slovenian national team, Blazic captured the gold medal at EuroBasket 2017.
