Butkevicius (2.03 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Rudupis of Lithuania. In the Eurocup, Butkevicius averaged 7.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in over 18 minutes per game during the regular season. The player left Zalgiris during the summer to see more playing time in Rudupis and now he's back to Kaunas. Butkevicius is one of the talents to come out of the Zalgiris school and he has been a prospect of the club for some years now. He played in Estonia with Tartu Rock in 2006-07 and the following season for Nevezis back in Lithuania. So far he has only appeared on three Euroleague games during the 2009-10 season with Zalgiris.
