Post-Draw flash analysis: Group E
CSKA MOSCOW
CSKA Moscow
CSKA Moscow comes off just the third perfect regular season in the Euroleague this century and is the only undefeated team left in the competition. CSKA won Group B playing attractive, fun-to-watch basketball, as the Russian powerhouse led the regular season in assists (20.7 apg.) and performance index ranking (103.9 per game). Its main pillars were regular season assists champion and former Euroleague MVP Milos Teodosic (10.2 ppg., 5.9 apg.) and bwin November MVP Nenad Krstic (15.6 ppg., 7.1 rpg.). With a deep, experienced team that always gets the job done, CSKA has not only bounced back from its underwhelming performance last season, but is once again a top contender to win it all.

OLYMPIACOS PIRAEUS BC
Olympiacos Basketball
Olympiacos Pireaus BC was undefeated at home throughout the regular season and stole a road win at the very last moment to finish second in Group A. The Reds lead the competition in fouls drawn (239), showing they have been aggressive along the way. Its undeniable superstar is former Final Four MVP Vassilis Spanoulis (19.8 ppg., 4.9 apg.), whose impact on his team is bigger than any other player in the competition. Spanoulis gets plenty of help from Olympiacos's big men, especially Kyle Hines (10.8 ppg., 5 rpg.) and Georgios Printezis (9.5 ppg.). Legendary coach Dusan Ivkovic has a nice mix of young talent and experienced players, so expect Olympiacos to keep challenging for big goals this season.

ANADOLU EFES
Anadolu Efes
Anadolu Efes is through to the Top 16 for the 10th time in 11 seasons, but with the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four to be played in its own front yard, Sinan Erdem Arena, the Istanbul-based power is as motivated as ever. Efes claimed third place in Group C thanks to three important road wins and an aggressive defense that was third in the regular season in steals (81). Sasha Vujacic (13.2 ppg.) and All-Euroleague forward Dusko Savanovic (10.6 ppg.) have been the go-to guys for coach Ufuk Sarica and when Tarence Kinsey returns from injury, it will be a big boost to the team on both ends of the floor.

GALATASARAY MEDICAL PARK
Galatasaray Medical Park
Galatasaray Medical Park’s road started earlier than any other Top 16 team – back in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds – but that has not deterred coach Oktay Mahmuti and co. at all. A super-balanced and deep attack features seven players averaging between 6.4 and 9.8 points per game. With a rotation that uses 10 players, no player has started every game. Galatasaray has been aggressive on the glass and is third among Top 16 teams with 106 offensive rebounds. Starring both veterans like guard Jaka Lakovic and center Luksa Andric and rising stars like big man Furkan Aldemir, Galatasaray has the confidence to continue defying expectations and extending its season at the expense of others through the Top 16.
