Post-Draw flash analysis: Group G
FENERBAHCE ULKER
Group A champion Fenerbahce Ulker returns to the Top 16 for the second consecutive season ready to win at least one more game than last season, when the club lost the chance to go to the Playoffs on point differential. FB Ulker’s team-oriented offense in proved itself with the fact that as many as six players enter the Top 16 averaging 8 points or better, led by Bojan Bogdanovic (11.5 ppg.), Omer Onan (9.7 ppg.) and Roko Ukic (9.7 ppg.). Curtis Jerrells (9.2 ppg.) and James Gist (9.1 ppg., 5.1 rpg.) could be two of FB Ulker's pillars in this round. Mirsad Turkcan’s expected will return from injury should only strengthen the Turkish champs.

PANATHINAIKOS ATHENS
Reigning Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion Panathinaikos Athens is back to the Top 16 and ready to break with its own past. Despite winning the competition in 2007, 2009 and 2011, Panathinaikos has not been to the Final Four in an even year since lifting the trophy in 2002. Panathinaikos ranked first in steals (8.7 spg.) and second in offensive rebounds (11.6 orpg.) in the regular season. Euroleague MVP Dimitris Diamantidis (10.8 ppg.) and forwards Romain Sato (10.3 ppg.) and Steven Smith (10.2 ppg.) have started every game so far. Of course and as has been the case for more than a decade, head coach Zeljko Obradovic will be the mastermind in charge as he and the Greens targets another title.

UNICS KAZAN
Turkish Airlines Euroleague debutant Unics Kazan sparkled at times en route to four road wins, a 7-3 record and third place in Group D. The guard duo of Henry Domercant (16.5 ppg.) and Terrell Lyday (12.2 ppg.) have guided the offense, while Vladimir Veremeenko, Nathan Jawai and Aleksey Savrasenko help make up a big frontline that causes trouble for opponents on both ends. Head coach Evgeny Pashutin’s squad has collective experience and plays with high levels of confidence, which is rare for a first-time team going this far in the competition. But the way Unics has played, the sky is the limit!

EA7 EMPORIO ARMANI MILAN
After a close call to finish an exciting Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan wipes the slate clean and enters the Top 16 eager to mount another strong run and to report to the Playoffs. Wins in the final two games of the regular season lifted Armani to fourth place on a tiebreaker. High-scoring sixth man Malik Hairston (13.9 ppg.), stud big man Ioannis Bourousis (10.2 ppg., 6.5 rpg.) and floor general Omar Cook (4.9 ppg.) are the tip of the iceberg for coach Sergio Scarilo’s deep squad. Playing patiently, Milan has committed the fewest turnovers (106) in the Euroleague this season and drawn the third-most fouls (229), which could be the recipe for Top 16 success.
