Euroleague Basketball and ACB reach collaboration agreement for improved event management
Euroleague Basketball, ACBEuroleague Basketball and the Spanish basketball league (ACB) announce that they will be working together to develop and share a software program that manages event invitations and accreditations. This agreement will allow for both leagues to be able to maximize resources and knowhow in event management and execution so as to improve the overall event experience for fans, media, athletes and guests.

The program, ELEVATOR, has been internally developed by the information technology department at Euroleague Basketball with the assistance and collaboration of the ACB. The ELEVATOR program was developed with the aim of having greater control and autonomy in the execution of large events such as the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four or the Spanish King“s Cup. ELEVATOR was used for the first time at the 2010 Eurocup Finals in Vitoria, Spain and, a month later, at the 2010 Final Four in Paris, France, after which it was applied to all subsequent events.

The ACB will begin to use this new program with the next edition of the Spanish King's Cup, which will be held between February 16 and 19 in Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

With the aim of promoting synergies, both leagues are looking into other projects that would allow for collaborations in maximization of resources.
