FC Barcelona Regal's Eidson to miss rest of Top 16
Chuck Eidson - FC Barcelona RegalFC Barcelona Regal announced on Monday afternoon that guard Chuck Eidson will have to be sidelined for the next three to four weeks, meaning he will miss the last two Top 16 games, against Bennet Cantu and Maccabi Electra, in which the team plays to advance to the Playoffs. Eidson was injured in the Spanish King's Cup final against Real Madrid on Sunday, and medical tests revealed that he suffers a sprain in the ligaments of his right knee. Regal FC Barcelona is on brink of qualifying for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Playoffs, which start  March 20, a date that would have Eidson just fresh from recovery if everything goes well. Eidson has played 14 Euroleague games with Barca this season and averaged 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
