BUT…. did you know the following about the games of Round 14?

One Team RS14

CSKA Moscow vs. Anadolu Efes Istanbul

CSKA dominates head-to-head series.

These two teams have met 18 times since 2000. CSKA dominates the series 15-3 and, in fact, it has also won its last six games against Efes. The Turkish squad last defeated the Russian powerhouse in February of 2013, in a Top 16 game.

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica vs. Fenerbahce Istanbul

Brand new foes.

This will be the first official game ever between Buducnost and Fenerbahce since they started playing continental competitions.

Olympiacos Piraeus vs. Herbalife Gran Canaria

Killie leads Granca to his former home.

It will also be the first time ever that Olympiacos and Gran Canaria play each other in official competition. Moreover, it will also be the first visit by big man Kim Tillie to Piraeus since he played for Olympiacos last season.

New Darussafaka guard Markel Brown played for Khimki in the 2016-17 season and now he will be back for the first time since he left the team. He played in11 EuroCup games in which he averaged 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Zalgiris Kaunas vs. Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv

Zalgiris boss Sarunas Jasikevicius became an international superstar while playing for Maccabi. Saras won back-to-back EuroLeague titles in 2004 and 2005, was named to the All-EuroLeague First team both seasons and also lifted the 2005 Final Four MVP trophy.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens vs. AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan

Scoring machines duel on opposite sides

Both Panathinaikos and Milan feature scoring aces in the backcourt: Keith Langford and Mike James, respectively. Langford played for Milan from 2012 to 2014 (and won the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy in his second year there) and James spent the past two seasons with the Greens.

FC Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid

A new rivalry in basketball.

Despite having been major foes for many decades in football, Bayern and Real Madrid have just played each other four times on the basketball courts in official competition since 2000. The Spanish squad has dominated the series 3-1, to date.
