Maccabi's Scheyer to miss start of playoffs
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv traveled to Greece on Sunday for its first two Turkish Airlines Euroleague Playoffs games against Panathinaikos without rookie guard Jon Scheyer, who instead flew to the United States for undisclosed personal reasons. It is not clear when Scheyer will return to the Israeli champs. The rookie guard scored a total of 6 points in seven Euroleague games this season.
