CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos combine for defensive mark
Final Four 2012, IstanbulThe intensity of the start of the 2012 Turkish Airlines Euroleague championship game was evidenced by the great play of both defenses. And when the opening quarter finished with CSKA Moscow leading Olympiacos 10-7, a new record had been established for the lowest point total in a single quarter in Final Four history. The previous record was barely 48 hours old. CSKA teamed with Panathinaikos for just 22 points in the second quarter of their semifinal game on Friday.
