Press conference comments:

Jordi Bertomeu, President and CEO Euroleague Basketball:

""The NBA is a partner for Euroleague Basketball in our industry, where we both enjoy the positive things that happen in our sport and suffer some of the negatives, such as the ongoing economic crisis, together. Euroleague Basketball has been working together with the NBA on this NBA Europe Live event for more than a few years now and we've all seen how it is a success, both commercially and sporting-wise. Now, it would be interesting to see if we can take this platform a step further and look to formalize what we are doing together in the preseason and build on that success. And of course, today is the moment to thank the city of Barcelona once again for its support of the sport of basketball."

Jesús Bueno, Vicepresident NBA Europe

"We are really happy to be here alongside Euroleague Basketball and alongside BBVA. We now have had six NBA Europe Live tours in seven years. We know that this collaboration is very much appreciated by the fans."

Maite Fandos, Baracelona city hall officer for sport

"I want to thank Euroleague Basketball, the NBA, the Catalan Basketball Federation and BBVA bank for their commitment to sport. Once again, Barcelona will get worldwide attention from this game, just as F.C. Barcelona carries our city to the world. Now, 20 years after the 1992 Olympics Games, we are happy because Barcelona continues to be a city committed to sport. With the headquarters of Euroleague Basketball here, it makes this a capital of European and world basketball."
