UNITED STATES
Always the main favorite to win the gold medal, the United States of American return to the Olympic men's basketball tournament with just one goal – to go all the way. USA returns with some of the superstars that led the team to strike gold in Beijing 2008, including five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant, three-time NBA MVP Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Deron Williams and Chris Paul. Kevin Durant, who was chosen ass the 2010 FIBA World Championship MVP, is now set to play in the Olympics for the first time. Four other players that won gold in Turkey 2010 - Tyson Chandler, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love and Andre Iguodala - are also set to play in London. Power forward Anthony Davis and combo guard James Harden complete a deep, powerful roster that will be the team to beat for everybody. USA, however, will also have the pressure to win no matter what, and will have to handle that in the best way possible.
