Telenet Oostende inks Wilkinson
Wes Wilkinson - Spirou Charleroi (Photo: spiroubasket.com)Belgian champion Telenet Oostende added to its frontline by signing forward Wes Wilkinson, who is well known in Belgium from a three-year stint with Spirou Charleroi. Wilkinson (2.06 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Turkish club Olin Edirne, for whom he averaged 7.1 points and 3.2 rebounds over 20 minutes per game last season. He began his career with Okapi Aalstar in Belgium in the 2006-07 season and then played the following three seasons with Charleroi, during which he helped the team win three league titles and one Belgian Cup. He played one season in France with Le Havre before moving to Turkey a year ago.
