Union Olimpija lands forward Bubnic

Drazen BubnicUnion Olimpija Ljubljana announced late on Monday a new addition for the upcoming season. The newcomer is forward Drazen Bubnic (2.07 meters, 26 years old) arriving from Helios Domzale of Slovenia. Last season, Bubnic averaged 10.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in the Adriatic League and 12.6 points and 5.0 boards per night in the Slovenian League. He started his pro career in 2004 in Croatia with Analitica Zagreb and stayed there until 2007. After that stint, he moved to Slovenia to play with Geoplin Slovan and then he also played with other teams in the country like Elektra Esotech, Luka Koper or Zlatorog Lasko before joining Helios Domzale.
