Union Olimpija switches from Thompson to Page
Dylan PageAs announced by the club on Tuesday, Union Olimpija Ljubljana announced the termination of the contract with Deon Thompson by mutual agreement, and at the same time, the arrival of power forward Dylan Page for the next season. Page (2.03 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Chorale Roanne of France, where last season he averaged 14.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in the French League being one of the leaders of the team. Page played college ball in Wisconsin - Milwaukee from 2000 to 2004. After that, he crossed the pond to land in Greece, where he played with MENT Vassiliakis. After one season there, he moved to Panellinios where he stayed until 2007. Then, Page moved to Spain and played with CB Granada and Mallorca. In 2008 he switched to France where he signed for Pau-Orthez. In the summer of 2009 he joined Chorale Roanne until now. In the 2010-11 season, Page played in the Eurocup with the French team. He averaged 8.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in three regular season games. This will be Dylan Page's debut in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague.
