Partizan mt:s tabs rookie big man Gordon
Drew Gordon (Photo: golobos.com)Partizan mt:s Belgrade announced Monday that it has signed promising rookie Drew Gordon for the coming season. Gordon (2.05 meters, 22 years old) arrives from the University of New Mexico, for whom he averaged 13.7 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1 block over 35 games last season. He helped the Lobos win the Mountain West Conference championship, was named MVP of the MWC tournament and as a first-team all-conference selection. Known for his great defensive play and strong rebounding skills, Gordon left New Mexico with the second most double-doubles in school history despite playing in just two seasons. Before joining New Mexico, Gordon played at the University of California at Los Angeles. He is expected in in Belgrade this week.
