Alba Berlin closes roster with Miralles
As announced by the club on Friday, big man Albert Miralles will be the player to close the 2012-13 season roster for Alba Berlin. Miralles (2.08 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Angelico Biella of the Italian League, where last season he averaged 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds in 32 games. Miralles started his career in Joventut Badalona of his native Spain in 1999. He stayed there until 2001, when he joined CB Oursense of the Spanish second division. In 2002 he moved to Italy and was tested by Virtus Bologna as he even played two Euroleague games. He signed a long term contract but switched teams early to Vip Rimini. He stayed in Italy a few more seasons in Roseto and Cantu until in 2005 he returned to Spain to join Valencia Basket. He played four seasons there until 2009, moving to Lagun Aro San Sebastian. After two season there, Miralles moved to Biella until now.
