Caja Laboral brings in veteran Cabezas
Carlos Cabezas - BC KhimkiA familiar face for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague fans will be back this season with the news that Caja Laboral signed veteran point guard Carlos Cabezas for the upcoming season. Cabezas (1.86 meters, 32 years old) arrives from CAI Zaragoza of the Spanish League, where last season he averaged 9.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 33 games. Cabezas stayed there until 2009 and was one of the main pieces of the roster that won the 2005 Spanish King's Cup, the 2006 Spanish League title and reached the 2007 Euroleague Final Four. In 2009 he moved to Russia to join BC Khimki Moscow Region, where he stayed one season. In 2010 he was back to Spain to play with CAI Zaragoza, a team that had recently returned to the Spanish ACB League. For his career Cabezas has played in 147 Euroleague games and averaged 7.4 points and 1.8 assists per game.
