Pallacanestro Cantu picks up guard Kudlacek on loan
Pallacanestro Cantu picks up Jakub Kudlacek on loan (Photo pallacanestrocantu.com)Pallacanestro Cantu added to its backcourt two weeks before the start of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds by securing the services of Jakub Kudlacek on loan from Pallacanestro Reggiana. Kudlacek (1.93 meters, 22 years old) played 16 games in the Italian League for Otto Caserta, in Swhich he averaged 5.4 points per game. A native of the Czech Republic, Kudlacek began his career with Slavov BK Litomerice before first signing with Reggiana in 2007. He has since spent time with that club’s junior and senior squads and played on loan for Scandiano and Mazzeo San Severo. He has also been a regular with the Czech national teams on both the junior and senior levels, including most recently at the EuroBasket 2013 qualifying games last month.
