Unicaja: Vidal to miss start of season
Sergi Vidal signed with UnicajaUnicaja will be without Sergi Vidal for the start of the 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season after the veteran swingman underwent surgery for a groin issue. The medical staff expects Vidal to miss eight weeks following a laparoscopic procedure on the pubis and pelvic muscles, which was conducted by team orthopedist Jose Nogales and specialist Manuel Martin at Hospital Nisa Aljarafe. Vidal, 31, signed with Unicaja over the summer. He has previously played in 190 career Euroleague games with Tau Ceramica/Caja Laboral Baskonia and Real Madrid.
