The European Commission is opening a public consultation to evaluate ways to best implement the European Week of Sport. Entering its fourth year, the European Week of Sport is a European Commission-led initiative aimed at raising awareness to and promoting the benefits of sport and physical activity and is inclusive of everyone, regardless of age, background or fitness level.
Euroleague Basketball promotes the European Week of Sport. Last year time was dedicated to the campaign at the seventh One Team Annual Workshop in Belgrade and the 40 teams competing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup were encouraged to promote the campaign to their fans throughout their communications platforms.
The consultation process aims to collect information and opinions from the general public and stakeholders regarding the European Week of Sport. All citizens and public or private organization can contribute their ideas. The results from the consultation will inform the evaluation of this initiative.
The consultation period will last through Friday, May 18, 2018. You can contribute to this consultation through an online questionnaire, available in 23 EU languages. https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/European_Week_of_Sport_PC_2018
