Main Life Skills: Inclusion in autonomous living, Independent life, Self-confidence
About the program:
Olympiacos Piraeus knows that the greatest concern among parents with a disabled person in their family is their inclusion in autonomous living and self-care training within a sheltered environment.
Supported living serves the primary right to independent life of each individual.
It also aims to develop and maintain to the maximum extent the skills and competences of people with disabilities so that they can live as autonomously and actively as possible in society.
Finally, Olympiacos wants to help people with disabilities participate in as many areas of life as possible, based on themselves.
At the same time Olympiaos also want to make them feel safe and secure in the new environment they will enter, feeling they belong in a big club and practicing like a big team on a stable basis, meeting important athletes giving them new motivation for life.
The program has 15 participants between 17 and 42 years this season and 10-12 sessions will be run between November and May.
