Tony Dorsey led the Eagles with 20 points while Brian Dux had 35 for the Heat. Jeremy Hyatt became the game hero by hitting 5 free throws in the final minute to win it for the Eagles. The Heat bounced back with a 80-102 road win over the Marshall MK Lions on Sunday. Mike Martin led the winners with 26 points. The Sheffield Sharks stay second at 25-7 by thrashing the Leicester Riders 100-68 at home on Thursday behind 23 points from the ever-present Jeff Bonds. It was a productive week for the Scottish Rocks, that registered back-to-back road wins. The Rocks edged the Plymouth Raiders 74-78 on Friday behind 20 points from Rob Yanders and then added a 59-90 road win against the Worcester Wolves. Julius Joseph paced the Rocks with 27 points. The Rocks had registered a 90-102 road loss against the Raiders on Tuesday. In other games on Saturday, the Raiders thrashed London United 72-104 while the Riders topped the Eagles 86-84 behind 25 points from Andrew Alleyne. On Sunday, the Chester Jets beat London United 110-98.
