The game was close only during the first quarter when the guests took a slim 20-15 cushion, but Ventspils extended it at halftime to 49-33. Six players scored in double figures, led by 14 points apiece from by Uvis Helmanis and Dusan Jelic. The latter also grabbed 16 rebounds, which helped the team control the game in the second half. Pavels Veselovs and Eddie Shannon added 12 apiece for Ventspils, Raimonds Gabrans had 11 and Justin Love contributed with 10. In the night's other game, Liepaja beat Falco/kei 92-61 behind 18 points from Mareks Jurevicius.
